A Lead Cloud Network Engineer opportunity for a business whose software products include AI and Automation software used by globally recognised companies. The Lead Cloud Network Engineer will support these global customers at a senior level and take a lead on high profile projects, so previous experience in a similar role is essential.
The Cloud Network Engineer will play a key role in the automation of their AWS infrastructure with a focus on scalability and security. Candidates from a Cisco Network background who have transitioned into Cloud network automation are preferred.
The company offer 3 days WFH per week, 2 days in their central London offices.
Core responsibilities Automation of AWS infrastructure
Communicate effectively with team members and external customers globally
Troubleshoot and test Cloud based network devices
Implement Cloud service integrations, Data flows, AWS, Cloud VPN
Key requirements 5 years+ in Cloud based network environments
Commercial experience with Infrastructure as Code / IaC: Terraform, Spacelift, Ansible or similar
Comfortable coding with Python
CI/CD, Github or similar
Amazon Cloud watch is highly desirable
All applicants must be UK based and eligible for security clearance
